Sysplex Network Technologies and Considerations
DescriptionIn this session, the speakers will review z/OS Communication Server networking technologies that help maximize the value of the Parallel Sysplex environment. Enhancements in the area of High Availability and workload balancing (including considerations for enabling these features) will be discussed. You will learn about the types of virtual IP addresses available, when to use them, and how they are helpful in load-balancing workloads across the sysplex. A section on the latest networking enhancements in support of z/OS Container Platform will also be presented.
