The IMS Common Service Layer (CSL) - Not So Common After All
DescriptionThe IMS Common Service Layer (CSL) provides improved systems management, ease of operations, and sharing of resources for IMS systems. This presentation discusses the major components of the CSL: the Operations Manager (OM), Resource Manager (RM), Structured Call Interface (SCI), their functions and features, and how they can provide a single system image view for multiple IMSs in an IMSplex. It does also, however, apply to single IMS systems.
