Starting From Scratch - The Journey of Moving Your Mainframe to Git
DescriptionMigrating from one source system to another is not easy. I remember moving from a very entrenched Bit Bucket instance onto GitHub enterprise. These systems were relatively the same but this was still a big change moment. Imagine then the change moment moving from a mainframe source code system into Git and practicing Git Native development. This is not just a change moment but a whole new world. This was the exact situation I found myself in while navigating the conversion of three of the internal teams I worked with in my organization. With this come a lot of lessons learned.
