Profiling a CICS Transaction Using Trace
DescriptionThe CICS Trace allows you to see the CICS Commands executed by programs. It can be an invaluable tool when trying to solve application problems in a production environment, and for catching problems before application updates make it into production. This presentation will show you how to produce and collect trace. It will show what is collected based on your settings and explain how to read it. The presentation will finish with a demonstration on how to profile a real liberty Java application linking to legacy COBOL using only the internal trace.
